credit where it's due to piano man, it takes a lot of self confidence to write a song about a bunch of sad people and close it off with "but not me, everyone loves me and gives me money because i'm the best at piano."

I know there was an old Cat and Girl comic about this, but can't for the life of me find it.

  • Every post is assigned an Evil score out of 100
  • Dark mode is only available to users whose average Evil Posting Score is 50 or higher
  • If you and a mutual have an Evil Posting Score greater than 75, an animation of two cackling skeletons shaking hands will play every time you like the same post
  • If you are Good but make an Evil post, @staff will e-mail your boss informing them of your fall from grace
  • Attaining an average Evil Posting Score of 90 or above will grant access to Hell Cohost. If you choose to enter Hell Cohost, you cannot return. Other Cohost users will note your absence but will be forbidden from discussing it. In time, it will be as though you never existed. Hell Cohost will physically hurt to be on but it's where all the best posters will end up
  • Reaching an average Evil Posting Score of 100 will allow you to access the following information about other Cohost users: credit card information, sexual history, names of future children, current location, vulnerability to attacks. In order to ensure that access to this information is not abused, the Honor System will be employed
  • The Evil score of your most recent post will appear as large glowing numerals just underneath the skin on the back of your hand. Do not attempt to cover the numerals. You can't

Recently watched the RetroPals play through the entire library of the Pokemon Mini and I had the strangest case of deja vu hearing the various blips and bleeps from this strange little device, and then I realized that I'd played a bunch of them because the Gamecube game Pokemon Channel had a Pokemon Mini emulator that you could discover, and it even had an original title added just for that release. At the time, I didn't even realize the Mini was a real product, I thought it was just a fictional framing mechanism to put in some little minigames!

But nope, Nintendo made an entire handheld, specifically themed around Pokemon, released around the same time as the Gamecube, and with half the colors and even less resolution than the original Gameboy. And the weirdest part of all is that it kind of rules? It's not entirely surprising that it wasn't a great success and that it has an official library of ten titles, five of which were only in Japan, but just watch a bit of these games and I think you'll agree it's quite impressive how much they are able to do with so little, especially since playing this on the actual hardware would have the additional novelty of being portable and having the shake control inputs. They go for around $150 on ebay and Dos had to race to put an emulator for it on the 3DS so that I didn't just go buy one outright.
